Today, Wednesday, January 14, two McFarland Police Officers (in marked McFarland PD squads) will be patrolling and providing primary police response in the Village of Oregon from 6am until 6pm. This arrangement will allow all members of the Oregon Police Department time to say goodbye to Oregon Police Department Lt. Karey Clark. Lt. Clark passed away unexpectedly last Friday.
If you live, work or travel through the Village of Oregon on Wednesday, don’t be alarmed to see a McFarland PD squad car on patrol, or showing up at your call. Additionally, telephone calls to the Oregon PD main telephone number will be routed to PSC during this same time period.
