As of 7:50am, both directions of Hwy 59 are OPEN, but traffic is being flagged to stop and go because only one lane is open for both directions. Delays are guaranteed.
INFO FROM ROCK CO SHERIFF’S OFFICE:
“On 08-04-14 at 3:52am Deputies responded to the Anchor Inn Bar located at 718 E. STH 59 for an alarm. Upon arrival Deputies discovered flames coming from the roof of the business. Edgerton Police and Fire Departments responded along with several Fire Departments from the area responded to the scene. Traffic was diverted on STH 59, around the area of the scene, for several hours during the fire and investigation. The business sustained substantial damage from the fire, which is still under investigation. ”

Westbound/northbound traffic exit at County M, west to US 51, then north back to WIS 59.
Reverse for eastbound/southbound traffic.
More fire departments being requested to the scene as of 6:10am. Upgraded to 2nd box alarm around 5:45am. Fire first reported around 4:00am. Fire is at Anchor Inn in the 700 block of Hwy 59.
