“Walk & Roll” is this Sunday in the Acewood and Elvehjem Park neighborhoods! Similar to “Ride the Drive” earlier this year, Walk & Roll will allow bicycles, walkers, runners and skaters access to car-free streets. So, from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m., street closures will include segments of the following roads…
* Acewood Boulevard
* Starker Avenue
* Angel Crest Way
* Buckeye Road
* Homberg Lane
* Ellen Avenue
* Painted Post Drive
There will also be lane closures on Cottage Grove Road, however, 2-way traffic will continue throughout the event on the north side of the road.

If you go by bike, please be aware that the Southwest Commuter Path will be closed from Randall Avenue to Mills Street, during the day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (Aug. 31 – Sept. 2) for construction at Charter Street. The path will be open during non-working hours (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.).
