Commericial Ave: Construction between Packers Ave and North St. Vehicles are on the north side of Commercial Ave during this phase of the project. Contractor is replacing utilities.
North Street: CLOSED Commercial Ave and E. Washington Ave; contractor is replacing utilities.
Johnson St/North St Intersection: Two way traffic shall be maintained on Johnson St except during non peak hours when traffic may be reduced to one lane with flaggers.
PROJECT DETAILS FROM CITY OF MADISON:
Commercial Avenue (Packers Ave – North St): Work is scheduled May 19 – October 17. The project includes replacing the sanitary and storm sewer, water main, curb and gutter and asphalt pavement. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction.
Phase I: All traffic is on the north side of the street
Phase II: All traffic is on the south side of the street
North Street (Commercial Ave – E. Washington Ave): Work is scheduled June 14 – October 17. The project includes replacing the sanitary and storm sewer, water main, curb and gutter and asphalt pavement. The road will be closed to through traffic. Local traffic will be maintained.
