Excerpt of message from the City of Middleton:
“This block of Hubbard Avenue will remain closed through the long weekend and into next week because pedestrians cannot safely access the sidewalks (which remain open) from on-street parking spaces. City officials are hopeful that most if not all of Phase 1 can be completed the week after Memorial Day. The contractor will then proceed with Phase 2 of the project, which will entail replacing brick terraces in the block of Hubbard Avenue east of Parmenter Street.”
