Streets Clean-Up

The city of Madison Streets Division has been hard at work clearing the most heavily traveled roads after the overnight snowfall.  Main streets have been salted, but falling temperatures will soon force a switch to sand.  Blowing snow is also causing problems in open areas and the Streets Division is paying particular attention to those spots.  Crews will stay out overnight tonight, but the Monday morning commute may be slower than usual, as many residential streets will still be snow covered.
