This doesn’t pertain to taking University Ave (Hwy 14) from Mazo\/Black Earth\/Cross Plains to Madison, \u00a0rather it pertains to the stretch of Hwy 14 from Rock Co\/Brooklyn\/Fitchburg to Madison.<\/p>\n
The ramp from NB Hwy 14 to the WB Beltline is CLOSED for about a month.<\/p>\n
Yesterday morning, there were crazy long delays on NB Hwy 14 from Fitchburg to the Beltline.<\/p>\n
The ramp from NB Hwy 14 to the EB Beltline was horrible.<\/p>\n
The EB Beltline was backed up from Fish Hatchery Rd to Rimrock Rd.<\/p>\n
The ramp to Rimrock Rd from the EB Beltline was horrible.<\/p>\n
NB Rimrock Rd was horrible from just south of the Beltline and over the bridge.<\/p>\n
The ramp from Rimrock Rd to the WB Beltline was horrible.<\/p>\n
I highly recommend finding an alternative route during the morning commute especially (other then the DOT’s recommended detour of \u00a0Hwy 14 to EB Beltline to Rimrock Rd to WB Beltline)<\/p>\n
If you don’t have an alternative route, \u00a0DEFINITELY leave extra time to get to where you need to be during the morning commute. \u00a0Yesterday, \u00a0it got bad by 7am and didn’t improve until ~8:30am.<\/p>\n
Lastly, a reminder that the SB Park St ramp to the EB Beltline is still closed until tomorrow morning. \u00a0Congestion may ease up a bit when this ramp opens because the DOT’s recommended detour takes people on NB Hwy 14 to the EB Beltline.<\/p>\n
