Commonwealth Ave is CLOSED between Monroe St & Allen St until mid-October.
The contractor is replacing the sanitary sewer, water main and storm sewer.
Information from the City of Madison:
Commonwealth Avenue (Monroe St – Allen St): Construction is scheduled May 19 – October 17. The project includes replacing the sanitary and storm sewer, water main, curb and gutter and asphalt pavement. The road will be closed to through traffic. Local traffic will be maintained.
