Gilbert Rd will be closed to all traffic at Whitcomb Dr Sept 8 – 12.
This project is scheduled to be done on Sept 17.
The project includes replacing the water main, storm sewer, deficient curb and gutter, pulverizing and paving and installing a table top intersection at Whitcomb Drive.
This week’s schedule:
Monday, Sept 8: Pour concrete for the table top at Whitcomb.
Tuesday, Sept 9: Pour remainder of concrete for table top & pave lower layer of asphalt on Gilbert from Whitney Way to Whitcomb.
Weds-Fri, Sept 10-12: Cure time for table top concrete, pave lower layer of asphalt from Whitcomb to Hammersley. Possibly pave upper layer of asphalt on entire project.
