INFO FROM CITY OF MIDDLETON:
Due to extensive bedrock on Lacy Rd/S. Syene Road, the road closures have been modified. Lacy Road from S. Syene Road to Blaney Road will be closed on June 16 & 17 from approximately 8am to 7pm. The road will be open for the weekend. Signs will be posted closing Lacy Road from S.Syene Road to the Lacy/Haight Farm roundabout with a posted detour. Only local residents will be permitted through the barricades to get to Blaney Road and neighboring houses. During this time, sanitary and storm sewer will be installed across the road by Parisi Construction.
S. Syene Road from Lacy Road to Wildheather Drive will be closed on June 18 from approximately 8am to 7pm. Detour signs will be posted for this closure. A storm sewer crossing will be installed at that time.
All construction will take place weather permitting and may change if bedrock becomes a problem. There may be several days of rain next week so expect potential changes to the dates above. Please contact Holly Powell at 206-3109 with any questions.
