“Weekend delays expected at I-39/90/94 work zone, Dane County
Delays are expected for weekend travelers near the I-39/90/94 work zone in Dane County, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Southwest Region.
Construction is underway on the I-39/90/94 bridges at the US 151 interchange in Madison. Motorists are encouraged to avoid travel through the work zone during peak times – northbound on Friday afternoons, southbound on Sunday afternoons – or use alternate routes.
Speeds are reduced to 55 mph. Three lanes of through traffic are open in each direction. No construction activities will be occurring during peak travel times but reduced speeds and heavy traffic volumes are projected to create backups.”
