UPDATE: Due to a design change and a need for additional parts, this project is POSTPONED until next week, Oct 27-31.
FROM CITY OF MIDDLETON:
The development of the new Parmenter Center building at 2501 Parmenter St (just north of the creek) will require construction of a water service pipe from the public main on the west side of Parmenter St to the new building.
The contractor has provided plans for trenching across the road to install the pipe in three phases, and intends to do the work next week (Oct. 20-24).
The work will not require closing any driveways or Parmenter St, but will require lane reductions and lane shifts.
In addition, sidewalk on only one side of the road will be open to pedestrians the majority of next week.Please allow a little extra time and patience next week if you’ll be traveling through Parmenter St between the roundabout and Donna Dr.
