NEW THIS WEEK:  Steel girders are being delivered on a daily basis this week during normal business hours.  Not expected to cause much of a delay, if any. A major traffic shift is expected to take place on Tuesday August 26th or Wednesday August 27th.  The Chapel Valley Rd intersection is tentatively scheduled to be closed September 3 – 4. County Hwy CC from County Hwy W to Belleville will remain open but will have delays at times.   Road will be gravel until it is repaved.    

This project has been delayed a couple of times,  but according to the City of Fitchburg,  work on that bridge begins today….or tomorrow due to the weather The road is closed from the Lacy/Haight Farm roundabout to CTH MM beginning Monday, August 25 to early October. This doesn’t pertain to taking University Ave (Hwy 14) from Mazo/Black Earth/Cross Plains to Madison,  rather it pertains to the stretch of Hwy 14 from Rock Co/Brooklyn/Fitchburg to Madison.
