ORANGE BARRELS DOING NEW THINGS: SB Hwy 51 ramp to EB Voges Rd CLOSED.
The ramp from SB Hwy 51 to EB Voges Rd will be closed all week (September 22 – September 26). They are lengthening the turn lane from SB Hwy 51 to EB Voges Rd. The other ramps and through movements will remain open. There will be a signed detour.

From DOT Project Manager David Layton: “It won’t be overlaid with asphalt but it will be ground smooth. That work begins next week starting on the eastbound side from Monona Drive to the interstate. We’re confident the public will be very happy with the ride once the project is finished.”
WHAT’S UP WITH THE STOUGHTON RD RAMP TO WB BELTLINE? ANSWER:
This info is from David Layton, DOT Project manager. There are no daytime lane closures on the Stoughton Rd on-ramp to the WB Beltline.
